Sometimes in life you just have to stop and admit that you need God to help you out. I’m not sure why it is that people have a tendency to think that we can do everything by ourselves, but I must confess that even while writing this I find it difficult to take a moment in quiet prayer because of all the other jobs that I am trying to juggle at the same time.

St. John’s Celebrates the Founding of An Anglican Church Women’s Chapter

April 25th, 2012

Celebrating with over 80 guests, St. John’s hosted its very first ACW Deanery Meeting with the theme of RENEW. There were roses, there was music, dancing and worship. A beautiful day of fellowship, ministry and fun for all.

Come join us in our traditional Lenten observance of Shrove Tuesday. Fun, fellowship, and of course, pancakes, all for $8.00. All proceeds go to support the Huron Hunger Fund.

St. Francis Day – Blessing of the Animals Service – October 16th, 2011

On this day we celebrate the wonder of all God’s creation, especially our four legged friends! Bring your dog, bring your cat, bring your horse! All are welcome in this special service. Come for a blessing and stay for beverages, goodies and fellowship afterwards.
